For those who stay on campus, our Life Enrichment Team ensures that there are a variety of fun and exciting ways for residents to stay active and engaged, every day. They have separate villas for independent living, and I like that. We know several people who have been there over the years. They seem to get good care and like it, I base a lot of my opinion on that.

Like they have two on-staff doctors, and I specifically requested one over the other, but they left my mom with the one that I didn't want her with. Everyone appreciates a beautiful setting, but those who choose Bethel Pointe get the best chance for a successful recovery. Our highly experienced team gets residents back on their feet and back to life as quickly and as safely as possible. Our community is composed of multiple “neighborhoods,” each with its own dining room, courtyard and beautiful common area. The rooms are decorated tastefully in a home-like manner while featuring electric beds, handicap accessible bathrooms and a team of eager professionals anxious to serve.

Fortunately, it looks like this nursing home has registered nurses on staff. Not every facility employs these skilled professionals. On the other hand, based on the data they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists.
Even after she tested positive we can’t get anyone to give us an update. Bethany pointe used to be the best facility in Anderson and my mom and dad would not go anywhere else. She lived in a villa for 4 years and did 2 rehab stays but since moving to assisted living the level of care has diminished slowly and then rapidly. I just wish corporate would establish a plan to communicate to the families of the residents at Bethany.
Prior to the virus they were basically kicking my mom out because she was confused and they couldn’t take care of her in assisted living. She is ambulatory, manages all her own ADLS, feeds herself etc. And then the virus hit and since we can no longer go visit, we have had no communication on her condition.
